Spicy pork miso soup with garlic miso

Ingredients (about 4 to 5 servings)

  • Thinly sliced pork belly … 150g
  • 1/2 of carrot
  • 1/2 of burdock root
  • 1/2 of konjac
  • 1/2 of leek(green onion)
  • Garlic miso … one bag of this product
  • Dashi (granulated soup stock) …about 7g
  • Water …4cup (1cup=250ml)

How to cook

  1. Cut each of ingredients into bite-size pieces.
  2. Add water and simmer softly while removing lye on the surface.
  3. Add dashi and dissolve garlic miso (adjust amount of miso to taste). Add green onion and turn off the heat just before boiling.

Garlic Miso

This miso is made with garlic, sesame, and chili peppers added to long-aged rice miso made from carefully selected Japanese ingredients.

The flavorful and rich miso is enhanced by the aroma of garlic and hot chili peppers.
